Cookies, Cookies, Cookies

This week a had another three orders, a baby shower and two little girls parties.
The baby shower was a purple and orange theme very cute!
One of the birthday girls was having a disco theme party so I thought it would be great to have a disco ball on a stick. Turned out pretty good, I think!

The other birthday party was for husbands cousin's daughter who lives in QLD. Mika loves my cupcake cookies and choc chip cookie pops. So I had to make sure she got some especially delivered for her birthday.

Tania McCartney did a great job with taking some really nice pictures of my cookies on the day. Here they are:

A very successful Mathilda's Market

I had a great Sunday at Mathilda's Market. Met lots of great stall holders and sold lots of cookies. I'm now preparing for Cobbitty Markets this Saturday and Petite Markets on Sunday. Big weekend ahead!

Here are some more pictures from my stall yesterday. I have two NEW additions to my range. The Baby Elephant and the Baby Cupcake. Please make sure you visit me on my new facebook page. I'm also slowly adding pictures onto my Flickr site. Have a sweet day tomorrow....

Mathlidas Market this Sunday!

Well i'm finally going to sleep now, it's been along few weeks perparing for the Mathildas Market tomorrow. I'm a first timer so very excited to meet all the lovely stall holders and cant wait to see what Lane Cove thinks of my cookies. Make sure you drop in and say hello.

At the market you’ll find unique, stylish and exquisite baby & kids’ goods from some of Australia’s most gifted designers and crafters. All products are either lovingly handmade, or manufactured in limited quantities and just too irresistible to refuse! Stallholders are carefully handpicked to bring shoppers the most divine assortment of clothing, accessories, home wares and toys for the little ones. Most stallholders at Mathilda’s Market don’t have bricks and mortar stores, so you’re sure to find something utterly original there. If you’re looking to stylishly dress your children or decorate their home environment, and want an alternative to mass-produced items, you’ll adore this Market! When & where: Sunday 29th May, 9am to 1pm at  St Ignatius College, Riverview. Entry and parking is free. More info at: www.mathildasmarket.com.au

Hope too see you there.....

Mother's Day Cookies

Well it's be awhile since I last posted some of my creations. Earlier this month I made Mother Day Cookies. These were sold at my Markets and through custom orders. I was really happy with the turn out....If I do say so myself!

Ace of Spades

This cake was made for my brothers 29th birthday. The cake was a chocolate mud cake with chocolate cream filling. Top with white fondant icing and shortbread cookies shaped in poker chips and Ace cards. Yummo!

Planet Cake Course

Well after a three day Planet Cake Course I have learnt more things then I could have imagined. From cookies, cupcakes, cake pops and a one tier cake it was the best. Libby the creator of Polka was there for two days to show us her methods of cookie making. Libby also helped us design these fantastic dessert table displays
with everything we created during the course. Mine is below....
It was the first time I had ever made a fondant cake. Linda from Planet cakes was so good to me as I was the newbie to Planet Cake and all the other lovely ladies in the class had attended planet cake courses before.
I was very fortunate to have a one on one lesson with Linda.
I must admit the cake looks great and all the ladies were surprised that I hadn't done courses before. I now have the confidence to do baby shower and christening cakes using the elements which I learnt. However I still have a long way to go with bigger cakes. I will definitely be attending more Planet Cakes courses in the future.

My theme over all the cupcake, cookies, cake pops and cake is Rainbows and Balloons.
